New Peeta Still Of Him Camouflaging Released From People’s Magazine

Covers For Us Weekly And People “The Hunger Games” Special Issues Revealed

With around 30 days to go before “The Hunger Games” will be released in Singapore on March 22, both Us Weekly and People magazine announced they will be publishing special “The Hunger Games” features collector’s issues.

Cover for “People Special: Hunger Games” is as seen below. Not much information about this issue is available yet except that according to Barnes & Noble, it will be available hit newsstands in USA on 2 March 2012 and is priced at US$4.49 (around S$5.65).

 

Cover for “Us Weekly Special: Hunger Games” is as seen below.

According to Barnes & Noble, Us Weekly Special: Hunger Games will features over 125 exciting photos of the cast and their elaborate costumes, plus interviews with the cast and three giant posters.” Besides that, Us Weekly will also be holding a contest for legal US residents to win a trip to Asheville, North Carolina, where “The Hunger Games” was filmed. “Us Weekly: Hunger Games” is slightly more expensive as compared to “People Special: Hunger Games” for it’s priced at US$9.99 (around S$12.56). “Us Weekly Special: Hunger Games” will also be released on 2 March 2012.

“Us Weekly: Hunger Games” and “People Special: Hunger Games” should be available in Singapore major newsstands and book stores such as Kinokuniya and Times.

Preview: Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth’s Interview With South Africa Seventeen

South Africa Seventeen magazine had secured an exclusive interview with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth for April 2012 issue. A preview of the interview can be found on the website of South Africa Seventeen magazine.

In an interview with seventeen, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson told us more about their filming experience and what it feels like to be part of one of the most anticipated movies of the year!

Lovely Liam wasn’t shy to admit that he is super proud of his performance in the film. Liam plays Gale, the hot hunter.
He shared: “I think as an actor, you always want your work to do well. I’m really happy with everything that I did in the film. And I think it was a bunch of people who ended up making this film and who really wanted to keep it close to the book. And if it does do well, then I think everyone will be very happy.”

Although he might play a tough guy in the movie, Liam isn’t so sure of his real life hunting skills. “I think I might be able to catch a few rabbits [Laughs]. As for surviving and feeding a whole family, I think that’d be a very difficult thing to do. I think I could maybe survive a little while [Laughs]. Hopefully, I could feed myself at least!”

Yummy Josh Hutcherson says he had to do training to portray the role of Peeta. “I had to put on weight for the role, which was the biggest thing. I had to build up 15 pounds of muscle and that was done through working out a bunch and eating a lot of chicken and eggs and it was very tiring.” Well Josh, the training definitely paid off!

Josh also adds that the movie is about more than just fighting and violence. “The story is really about survival and it’s about family and a tribute to freedom.

Josh Hutcherson In January 2012 British Edition Of Glamour Magazine

Our friends over at Hunger Games Indonesia stumbled on a short mention of Josh Hutcherson, who will play Peeta Mellark in ‘The Hunger Games’, where he was ranked 3rd as MONITOR “The Stars to watch in 2012” in British edition of January 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.

The Hunger Games is the first chapter of a Trilogy that’s set to be huge, but it’s Josh who’ll grab your attention as Peeta in Part 1. While Twilight had Team Edward and Team Jacob, THG will introduce a new divide: Team Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Team Peeta (Josh). Both are vying for the heart of Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss in this sci-fi extravaganza, out in March, Josh also joins Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas in the remake of Red Dawn.
