UPDATED: Shaw Listed ‘The Hunger Games’ Under “Coming Soon” With 90 Minutes Of Running Time

While ‘The Hunger Games’ is distributed by Cathay-Keris Films in Singapore and is scheduled to be open in Cathay Cineplexes on 22 March 2012, there was no doubt people were wondering if other local cinemas will screen it as well.

It looks like Shaw will certainly be screening it! Shaw has ‘The Hunger Games’ listed under “Coming Soon” section on their website. Click on the image to enlarge for a better reading experience.

‘The Hunger Games’ was also listed with a running time of 90 minutes on Shaw’s website. We had sent an inquiry to Shaw so hold on to your horses while we verify if this is the real running time for ‘The Hunger Games’ movie. Cathay Cineplexes on the other hand, does not have a running time listed for ‘The Hunger Games’ on their website yet.

With ‘The Hunger Games’ being listed in Shaw’s website as one of the “Coming Soon” movies, we couldn’t help wondering if Shaw will be screening ‘The Hunger Games’ in IMAX too as we had previously reported ‘The Hunger Games’ will have a week run in IMAX in USA.

As the only two IMAX theaters in Singapore are OMNIMAX at Singapore Science Centre and Shaw Theatres Lido IMAX at Shaw House, we think this might actually be a step forward to the possibility of ‘The Hunger Games’ will be screened in IMAX in Shaw.

We will update this post when we hear anything new from Shaw.
