Hunger Games Singapore was featured on The Straits Times back in March 23, 2012.

We realized that we were featured in one of Youth.SG articles titled “Communities and friendships formed through the World Wide Web” too.

Much like Twilight Singapore, Hunger Games Singapore is also a fanpage that constantly keeps up to date on everything related to the popular book series by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games.

The trilogy follows Katniss Everdeen, a young woman who lives in a dystopian world where several selected youths are forced to participate in a brutal and lethal game called the Hunger Games.

One can still see the kind of dedication that its founders have for The Hunger Games despite the community’s relatively small fanbase, with every post featuring a video, a contest, or a news article about the trilogy.

You can check out “Communities and friendships formed through the World Wide Web” for other websites and online communities that were featured.

The Straits Times On ‘The Hunger Games’, Fan Works, Viral Technology And More

Yesterday’s edition of The Straits Times had an commentary article written by Tan Shzr Ee in page C6 of The Straits Times Life! section. In this article, the writer talks about ‘The Hunger Games’ novel, fan made works including Main Stay Productions, viral technologies, fan fictions, S.O.P.A., Katniss Everdeen and other thought provoking thoughts garnered through the writer’s research process regarding ‘The Hunger Games’ trilogy.

Though there are mistakes regarding ‘The Hunger Games’ trilogy in the article itself which fans would be able to spot easily, we thought it is an interesting read.
