Entertainment Weekly Receives White Rose From President Coriolanus Snow On Valentine’s Day

Entertainment journalists will receive all sorts of marketing products from companies in hopes of these said journalist will do a write-up on the products they had received which will help to promote the drama/show/movie.

While journalists have to wade through odd marketing products from companies such as receiving a huge rock which was used to promote a cavemen comedy, Entertainment Weekly‘s journalist, Adam B. Vary, received a gift from Lionsgate that stood out among the rest of marketing products on Valentine’s Day.

A single stalk of white rose with a small card attached from none other than President Coriolanus Snow himself.

In case you can’t read the message on the card, here it is below:

From all of us here in the Capitol, I would like to wish you a happy Valentine’s Day and a happy Hunger Games.
I’ll see you on March 23rd.
President Coriolanus Snow

If you had read “The Hunger Games” trilogy, you will certainly know what the white rose represents especially in “Mockingjay”. We certainly love the Capitol seal embossed into the card. Great marketing by Lionsgate indeed. We couldn’t help wondering if the white rose smells of perfume which President Coriolanus Snow loves to wear too?

‘The Hunger Games’ will be released in Singapore on 22 March 2012.
