Poll: MTV Movie Brawl 2012 Round Four ‘The Hunger Games’ VS ‘The Woman in Black’

‘The Hunger Games’ has successfully beaten up ‘John Carter’ in Round Three of MTV Movie Brawl 2012 and advanced into Round Four of MTV Movie Brawl 2012 where ‘The Hunger Games’ is pitted against ‘The Woman in Black’.

Ladies and gentlemen, your trip to Mars has been postponed — all thanks to an unassuming archer named Katniss Everdeen.

“John Carter’s” valiant quest for MTV Movie Brawl 2012 supremacy has finally come to an end, after rounds and rounds of the Taylor Kitsch-led movie surpassing expectations and cracking into the Elite Eight. Alas, in the end, it was no match for the top-ranked “Hunger Games,” which continues on its expected path towards the final round.

Tributes have had an easier time in the brawl for it all than most competitors, but the “Hunger Games” may have finally met its match in the form of a former boy wizard. Indeed, “The Woman in Black” has been on a tear, unexpectedly toppling “Snow White and the Huntsman” in the Sweet 16 and “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” in the Elite 8. Daniel Radcliffe fans can hold their heads high as they march forward through the brawl. But with an epic battle between “Hunger Games” and “Woman in Black” now underway, the decision of who moves onto the final round is completely in your hands. Who continues in this competition: the fan-favorite, or the dark horse?

‘The Hunger Games’ Three Leads Included In Next Movie’s Actors And Actresses To Watch

Next Movie has created two lists of 30 Actors and 30 Actresses people should watch out for in 2012. We are very happy to see all of ‘The Hunger Games’ three leads, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, are all in the lists!

First up, let’s take a look at why Jennifer Lawrence made it into the “30 Actresses to Watch in 2012″ list!

Jennifer Lawrence

Starring in: “The Hunger Games” (March 23); “The Silver Linings Playbook” (Nov. 21)
Why It’s a Big Year: There was a virtual battle royale in Hollywood over which hot young actress would land the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in “Hunger Games,” but Lawrence came out on top thanks to her “Winter’s Bone” mystique (playing Mystique didn’t hurt). Securing a plum role opposite Bradley Cooper in a David O. Russell comedy is the cherry on top of a watershed year.

Next, we have Josh Hutcherson in “30 Actors to Watch in 2012″ list. He will be appearing in 3 movies this year. We are unsure if ‘Red Dawn’ will be released in Singapore though. ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ will be released in Singapore on 19 January 2012 while ‘The Hunger Games’ will be released in Singapore on 22 March 2012.

Josh Hutcherson

Starring in: “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” (Feb. 10)’; “The Hunger Games” (March 23); “Red Dawn” (Nov. 2)
Why It’s a Big Year: Hutcherson has been acting since he was 9, but 2012 looks like his career high. With a hat trick featuring one family-friendly sequel, one gritty ’80s remake and one teen-lit phenomenon, Hutcherson is set to catch fire, particularly as the irresistibly sweet male lead Peeta Mellark in “The Hunger Games.”

Last but not least, we have Liam Hemsworth, also featured in “30 Actors to Watch in 2012″ list. ‘The Hunger Games’ will be released in Singapore on 22 March 2012. As far as we know, there’s no release date for ‘The Expendables 2′ in Singapore yet.

Liam Hemsworth

Starring in: “The Hunger Games” (March 23); “The Expendables 2″ (Aug. 17)
Why It’s a Big Year: With “The Hunger Games,” Hemsworth will finally move out of brother Chris and girlfriend Miley’s shadows. The Aussie hunk has thousands of fans anxiously waiting to see him play Gale, heroine Katniss Everdeen’s best friend, in the dystopian thriller. Plus, he’ll star opposite Stallone & co. in the “Expendables” sequel.

3. “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” ( Last week: No. 1 )
Robert Pattinson: Rock star? Taylor Lautner: Action star? However those career choices pan out, they’ll always have Forks.

5. Steven Spielberg ( Last week: Not ranked )
With two high-profile film coming out in the next few months (“The War Horse” and “The Adventures of Tintin”), Spielberg still found time to win the PGA’s David O. Selznick Award. Plus, there’s the whole “Lincoln” movie he’s working on, now with more Jackie Earle Haley.
