We had posted about a new TV spot spotted on TV in USA that has additional footage accompanied with “Safe and Sound” by Taylor Swift feat. The Civil Wars.

What we didn’t realize was the fan didn’t had time to record the the full TV spot and thus missing on some additional footage in the front part of this TV spot.

Hopefully Lionsgate will release a higher quality version of this TV spot soon!

VIDEO: New “The Hunger Games” TV Spot Featuring “Safe And Sound”

We had reported about a new TV spot showing footage from Training Centre and two new TV spot that’s shown on “The Hunger Games” movie YouTube channel under Capitol TV Productions.

The Hob Twitter follower,  @Vaporage, managed to capture a low quality video of this new TV spot showing on TV with “Safe and Sound” by Taylor Swift feat. The Civil Wars.

In this TV spot, we get to see even more new footage such as bread scene back in District 12 when Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark were young, Reaping, Katniss Everdeen lying on bed perhaps while on train to Capitol, glimpses of Mrs. Everdeen and more! Nothing too spoilery though!

More Hints Regarding “The Hunger Games” Movie Premiere In Singapore From Cathay Cineplexes

Remember we had posted on 21 February 2012 regarding Cathay Cineplexes promising to reveal how you can attend “The Hunger Games” local première on 22 February 2012?

Yesterday, Cathay Cineplexes started off by asking what District Hunger Games fans are from on their Cathay Cineplexes official Facebook page.

Unfortunately, due to unknown reasons, Cathay Cineplexes did not release the information for “The Hunger Games” local premiere yesterday as promised. Nevertheless, Cathay Cineplexes official Facebook page has hinted on what you would need to do to attend “The Hunger Games” premiere today.

Perhaps they will be holding a 74th Hunger Games? It certainly sounds promising so far.

Cathay Cineplexes have also disclosed on their Facebook page they will be revealing details for “The Hunger Games” movie local premiere today! We can’t wait!

VIDEO: New ‘The Hunger Games’ Trailer Aired During Grammy 2012

Lionsgate had released a 1:11 minutes long trailer around a week ago.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards was held during Singapore time on February 13, 2012, from 9am onwards. Grammy winning artistes and duo such as Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars along with Grammy nominated The Decemberists who had contributed to “The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond” soundtrack had also attended the awards show.

Perhaps it is due to the said artistes relations with “The Hunger Games” movie soundtrack, Lionsgate revealed a slightly shorter 32 seconds long trailer during Grammy 2012. The new trailer features several scenes taken from different angles and as well as new shots.

A fan had uploaded a low quality video of the trailer onto YouTube.

New Stills Of Katniss With Cinna And Katniss In District 12 Training Outfit

In an recent interview Lenny Kravitz had with Rolling Stone.

Lenny Kravitz talked a little about playing District 12 Tributes’ stylist, Cinna, in which Rolling Stone also revealed a new still of Cinna with Katniss Everdeen played by Oscar Best Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence (above).

That changed in a big way with his first feature-film role in the 2009 drama Precious, and now with a key role in next month’s The Hunger Games. Based on the hugely popular novel of the same name, the new film is set in post-apocalyptic North America, where teenage gladiators are chosen to battle to the death in annual televised games. Kravitz plays Cinna, stylist and confidant to the rebellious Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence), the central figure in the book and movie.

“I always figured it would come back into my life,” Kravitz says of acting. “I was an actor when I was a kid. When I realized music was my thing, I just gave it up. I put blinders on, just focused on music. It’s come back now and I really am enjoying it.”

Kravitz took the role after meeting with director Gary Ross (Pleasantville) and reading the first book of the best-selling trilogy by Suzanne Collins. “I thought it was really good storytelling,“ Kravitz says. “I’m very much into stories. The character was interesting. I like Gary’s previous work. And I said, Yeah, let’s go.”

In The Hunger Games, his character creates a series of striking outfits for the young warrior, which isn’t exactly a stretch for the stylish rocker. “He’s very streamlined, he’s very quiet,” Kravitz says of Cinna. “He knows what he’s doing. He’s confident. He’s got a big heart. I just liked the way he moved – very smooth.”

As a musician, Kravitz is used to being in total control of his work – writing, performing and producing – and that control reflects on him as an artist. “It’s about me, as it should be,” he says. “But in this case, it’s got nothing to do with me. It’s about a director’s vision, a character, and I really like that.”
