Lionsgate revealed the rest of remaining actors who will play 75th Hunger Games Tributes in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”.

Following previous set of paparazzi photos showing cast of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” on set, photos of Donald Sutherland as President Snow on set appeared online.

In the photos, Donald Sutherland was wearing a suit and a coat. In some photos, he was standing on a podium as well.

Many guessed *CATCHING FIRE MAJOR SPOILER ALERT* they might be filming the scene where President Snow announced Tributes for 75th Hunger Games, also known as Quarter Quell, will be reaped from Victors of previous Hunger Games.

PHOTOS: First Look Of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Cast On Set

Remember we posted that principal photography has started for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” a couple days ago?

While we usually don’t approve of posting paparazzi photos on Hunger Games Singapore, we are breaking the rule this time round for they will give us a glimpse of what “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” cast will look like in the movie.

It’s great to see Jennifer Lawrence in her Katniss Everdeen brunette hair and braid again.

In the picture below, Jennifer Lawrence is hurrying on set while The Hob‘s follower @Madinalala spotted “The Idiom” signboard placed in the car, confirming that the working title for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is indeed “The Idiom”. You might remember that the working title for “The Hunger Games” was “Artemis”.

In this photo below, sharp eyed @Madinalala has spotted the trailer door has “Katniss” and “Peeta” written on it.

Meanwhile, Josh Hutcherson who will reprise his role as Peeta Mellark in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is back to blonde.

Sam Claflin who will be playing the highly adored District 4 ‘s 65th Hunger Games victor Finnick Odair in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” get a spray tan and sporting bronze hair.

Alan Ritchson who will play District 1 previous Hunger Games victor, Gloss, has clearly been doing some seriously training to be the ex-Career Tribute Gloss is.

Last but not least, Bruno Gunn as District 2’s previous Hunger Games victor Brutus was  spotted on set too.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Begins Production And Stand A Chance To Win A Visit To Set!

With “The Hunger Games” grossing nearly US$700 million (around S$860,546,211) in box office worldwide, Lionsgate announced the highly anticipated sequel, titled “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” started the principal photography on September 10, 2012 (US time) in their press release.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be shooting “primarily in existing locations in and near Atlanta, Georgia,” as well as “in the beaches and jungles of Hawaii before wrapping in late December, 2012.

According to the press release, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be released worldwide on 22 November 2013 with returning cast such as Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Lenny Kravitz (Cinna), Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman), Donald Sutherland (President Coriolanus Snow), as well as new additions which includes Philip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee) and Jeffrey Wright (Beetee).

Lionsgate has also expressed their excitement for the start of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”‘s principal photography:

The Hunger Games DVD&Blu-Ray Pre-Order Starting 1 August In Singapore

Remember we posted The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-Ray might be released in Singapore on 18 August 2012, which is the same date as USA?

We have received confirmation from Typhoon Creations, a subsidiary of TS Group, that The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-Ray will indeed be available on sale on 18 August 2012 in Singapore.

The special features in Singapore edition of The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-Ray will be the same as the USA edition.

However, cover art for The Hunger Games Blu-Ray will be different from the USA edition as they were going for a more “‘classic’ and ‘collector’s’ for the Blu-ray artwork.

The Hunger Games DVD will be retailing at S$26.90 and Blu-Ray™ at S$39.90 and the title is targeted to be released on 18 August 2012. For every pre-order of the DVD, a free Hunger Games notebook will be given. For every pre-order of the Blu-ray™, a free Hunger Games notebook and a Hunger Games premium (either Wrist Band or Mockingjay Bookmark) will be given. While stocks last!

VIDEO: New The Hunger Games Behind The Scenes Clip With Jennifer Lawrence On Katniss Everdeen

Entertainment Weekly has revealed an exclusive behind the scenes clip for ‘The Hunger Games’ movie where Jennifer Lawrence talks about playing Katniss Everdeen.

Before The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence was known mostly for indie fare, like her Oscar-nominated turn in Winter’s Bone.

In this EW exclusive clip of a behind-the-scenes feature from the upcoming Blu-ray release ofThe Hunger Games, Lawrence discusses her fears about signing onto a popular franchise film, her advice from her mom, and why a good script is a good script, no matter the size of the movie.

The wait is over! We have just heard from Gramophone you can now pre-order The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-Ray online via Twitter.

Blu-Ray version of The Hunger Games retails at S$39.90 while DVD version of The Hunger Games retails at S$26.90.

The Hunger Games DVD comes with a free The Hunger Games notebook when you pre-order while The Hunger Games Blu-Ray comes along with a free The Hunger Games notebook and wristband OR Mockingjay bookmark.

Both items are applicable for free shipping within Singapore on Gramophone and will be shipped out on the release date, 18 August 2012.
