2012 MTV Movie Awards: Katniss Everdeen Nominated For Best Hero

2012 MTV Movie Awards has announced a new social voting award category “Best Hero” which Katniss Everdeen from “The Hunger Games” is nominated for. Katniss Everdeen will up against Captain America from “Captain America: The First Avenger”, Harry Potter “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2″, Jenko from “21 Jump Street” and Thor from “Thor”. “The Hunger Games” is also nominated for 8 other awards.

‘The Hunger Games’, rated PG13, was released on 22 March 2012 and is now available in all cinemas islandwide. ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ is scheduled for release on 22 November 2013 in USA.
